These pictures are from going on a trip up to Atlanta (about 4 1/2 hours north of us) the first weekend in November. We stayed with an old missionary companion (Esmeralda Meraz Amos) of mine and her family in Alpharetta which was so fun! We were able to go to the temple and go to a place called Stone Mountain. We all climbed to the top of the granite mountain. We were so proud of the kids!

Andy's work- Oil Dri
Andy is really liking his new job at 'Oil Dri' (pronounced O'l Dry by the southerns) in Ochlocknee, (pronounced Oke-lock-knee) Georgia. He is the new 'mining superintendent' and helps excavate clay for absorption- mostly for kitty litter. Andy brought us to the mine to show us around. The kids love Dad's new job. He's brought home turtles and he's told us stories of rattle snakes and lizards. He's brought home pecans from the trees there and he also took us to some land Oil Dri owns and let us pick some peanuts. Did you know peanuts are a root you actually pick out of the ground??
